Wednesday and Thursday we headed up to Daniel's Summit for a quick getaway. It's up between Heber City and Strawberry at the summit of Daniel's Canyon. We just love it there. We stayed at the Daniel's Summit Lodge which is really nice. We went swimming the first night and just hung out and relaxed(relaxing might not be the right word, we did have our kids with us.) The next morning we rented a jeep and adventured up into the mountains in search of a bear. It was really beautiful up there, but we did not see a bear. Darn. Then, we went to Strawberry and rented a little motor boat and puttered around for a while. We had a really great mini trip. I am so grateful for my little family!!

Hey great Idea. Sounds like my kind of trip with a hotel and everything. I am not a true camper, but the way you did it sounds great.
